The Egg Project

Because India’s Children Matter.

The Need

India is a nation with 480 million children. In the villages and slums of India, you will see children playing or working instead of going to school. They don’t care to study because they don’t know that they can succeed.

These children lack education, hygiene, and the knowledge that God deeply loves them. If nothing changes, they will live and die in a cycle of poverty and hopelessness.

The Need
The Egg Project

The Egg Project

Most of all, The Egg Project brings them hope, no matter who they are or what they believe. We are inspired to help by our belief in the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Three Things We Give a Child

Education

Education

Village children struggle in their studies because they don’t understand what is taught in school. Their parents are illiterate and cannot help them. At The Egg Project centers, tutors lovingly work with the children on their homework and teach them good study habits.

Health and Hygene

Health and Hygiene

Many children in India suffer from malnutrition. At The Egg Project, each child receives a nutricious snack (often a hard-boiled egg). Also, the tutors teach the children about good hygiene- things like the importance of washing hands and brushing teeth.

The Gospel

Good News

Each child hears the Good News at The Egg Project centers. Servant Leaders trained by Serve India Ministries teach children about their value and importance as people. They learn respect for themselves, one another, their community and so much more. They take what they have learned back to their families. Through this, whole villages hear Good News and are transformed.

What Your Gift Can Do

A Village Girl

Hear about how much she is loved and valued, so she is without hope.

The Egg Project

A Serve India Ministries Servant Leader starts an Egg Project through is local help and outreach center. She begins attending regularly. There she gets help with her studies, training in good hygiene, and hears Good News.

Life and Hope

She starts making better grades and finds success at school and in life. For the first time, she has dignity and hope. She begins to share Good News with her family, who get involved and begin their own journey of poverty. This changes the village, enabling a hope and outreach center to be put in place.
